Hi, my name is Edgar,
in June 2015 I graduated Master degree studies
in audio visual media arts in RISEBA university- Riga, Latvia.
Since 2016 I live in Berlin,
Germany having an internship in local lighting and camera equipment rental Licht Haus/ Kamera Haus in Adlershof. After graduating film school I started to
practice filming skills working as a freelanced camera operator, filming documentary films and commercial advertising videos. I worked in several Latvian film
projects as a lighting grip in 2014 in Latvian film production "Mellow Mud" which succeeded in several international film festivals in Canada, Latvia and including Berlinale in 2015.
My professional experience includes cameraman assistant and lighting technician position in Latvian Television
(LTV).
I have also practiced as a boom operator in different indie
film production. I am very passionate about filmmaking indeed.
I speak freely English, Latvian, Russian, Norwegian and German.
Right now I am working on my Alien Sci-Fi Film Noir short movie.
In Berlin, Germany I have worked in several low budget short movie project as working and experimenting with lights as the gaffer and also my passion for directing and filming documentary movie.
